Hypnotherapy is a two-way process between the therapist and the client, a professional partnership. A person cannot be hypnotized unless he or she agrees and cooperates - this cannot be stressed enough. Also while hypnotized, nobody can make you do anything which you do not want to do. It must be emphasized here that what hypnotherapists do is, by definition, therapeutic.
Analytical Hypnotherapy/Age Regression Therapy
Analytical Hypnotherapy or Hypno-Psychotherapy seeks to uncover and address the emotional root cause underlying a problem or symptom. It is a 'talking therapy' where the client is in a position to access and explore the contents of their subconscious mind in a state of heightened relaxation or hypnosis.
Parts Therapy
Parts Therapy is based on the concept that our personality is composed of a number of various parts, which are aspects of the subconscious. This advanced hypnotic technique often works with clients after other techniques have failed. The hypnotherapist guides the client into a state of hypnosis and then talks to that part of the subconscious that wants to prevent the client from changing and then talks to the part motivating the client to improve his/her life. The process resembles mediation, in that the hypnotherapist asks the right questions in order to help the parts resolve their own differences. The process is designed to empower the client!
Suggestion Therapy
Suggestion Therapy is recommended for most problems which do not have an emotional root cause. It is a highly successful therapy for individuals seeking to change what they perceive to be a bad habit. The hypnotic state makes the person better able to respond to suggestions. It can also help people change perceptions and sensations and is particularly useful in treating pain.
